A single silk-smooth concrete monolith, faced in poured-in-place panels with the fine tie-hole grid left honest, split from plaza to sky by one tall vertical slot of glass. The slot glows warm at night; the concrete stays dark and quiet around it. At the base the mass lifts on a reflecting pool so the tower appears to float, and the top is cut square with a deep shadow reveal. Nothing else: one material, one opening, one idea — and the cheapest tall building envelope there is.
