HIGH RISE

Aztec

Stepped stone pyramid, dark glass spine, lit crown

A stepped pyramid of warm cut stone, coursed and battered, uplit from the plaza at night. One full-height spine of dark glass splits the mass from the ground to a luminous crown ring at the apex. Every setback is a deep stone terrace; the tower narrows as it rises until only the glass spine and the halo are left against the sky.
